I obtained a conventional loan through Securus Mortgage. We closed in under 30 days with an excellent rate and no problems. Brandon Funk was our loan officer. His communication skills, response time, knowledge, and breakdown of everything required was excellent. In the very first meeting, Brandon laid out every detail of the loan and helped us understand the process and kept us well informed on the various stages. He responded in a timely manner any time I or my wife had a question (we are first time buyers). He and his team of Darin and Kim were very patient, and throughout the process they were highly available, very quick to return emails and phone calls. They are all very easy to work with too ! Brandon (and his team) made my refinance experience fairly flawless. When I was unable to respond to my emails promptly he would gently remind me with a text as to what he needed next. This kept the process moving along. I was very appreciative of him giving me that extra nudge. So, for that alone I would give him 2 more stars, if I could! I came upon Brandon Funk by the mention of a name from someone else in a circle of friends. I had originally called him as I didn't want to use some of our relator friends as we had to many and I was just curious to see if we would even have a chance at being preapproved for a home. Our journey began with a phone call and from there "we were in great hands" Coming from a Customer Service background myself I was so impressed with his immediate actions and attention to detail.
